Plumbing plays one of the most vital roles in managing the health and safety of the local community, as well as the wider community. It is for this reason that it is so important that plumbers are publicly recognized for their hard work and long studied skills.
An event initiated by the World Plumbing Council, World Plumbing Day is an opportunity to recognize the important work that plumbers do to maintain and improve the health and safety of communities all over the world.
March 11 is marked by celebrations, competitions, seminars, and activities all around the world. People from within and outside the plumbing fraternity come together to learn, share knowledge, build connections and find opportunities to collaborate to improve the quality of, and access to, fresh water and safe sanitation.
